Breaking News: President Atta Mills Resigns


Deep throat sources from the NDC party headquarters has hinted that the President of the Republic of Ghana, President John Evans Atta Mills, has tendered in his resignation to Johnson Asiedu Nketiah aka General Mosquito as the leader of the ruling party, NDC. In his resignation letter he has assured the leadersip of the party of his determination to finish his term as the President even if all his Ministers should abandon ship.

With the latest development, the NDC would have to go back to congress to elect a new flagbearer. Already there are those who hail this latest development as an opportunity to run for the flagbearership of the party, prominent among them is Mills’ Foreign Minister Mohamed Mumuni, who has just announced to his constituents his intention to contest the flagbearership “even though he has just been elected as a Parliamentary candidate of the Kumbungu constituency”. Also poised to contest is Mills’ vice John Dramani Mahama.
